The Career Center at the University of California, Riverside, in an effort to provide strong privacy practices for on-line personal information, adheres to the following policies:

Data collected for job listings, resume storage, and on-campus interviewing services are stored on SCOTjobs is provided by UCR's Career Center in partnership with two non-profit associations: the National Association of College and Employers (NACE). For details on their privacy policies please see NACElink Nework Privacy Policy. All privacy policies for our partners are reviewed by the Career Center.

Collection and access to student information is governed by campus and federal policy under the Federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), as well as the Policies of the University of California, Riverside (UCR PPM). All of our users' information is considered confidential and its use is restricted to UCR Career Center staff, on an as-needed basis.

Modifying Personal Information on SCOTjobs:

Students may change or correct personal information at any time via GROWL. To minimize the number of locations needed to update your data, we work closely with the Office of the Registrar to keep your records current and accurate. Job and career-related data should be updated on SCOTjobs .

Alumni can update personal information directly through SCOTjobs. Simply log in to your account, go to Profile, and you will find options for editing the information you have submitted.

Employers may alter organization and/or contact information directly through SCOTjobs. Just log in and go to Account. You will find options for editing the information you have provided there.
